David is very creative and all of his performances include some of his own puppet routines and magical creations.
One of David's first ever shows was at the age of 8 when he appeared in the Butlins Junior Talent Competition, as a Ventriloquist, in front of over 1,000 people.
His mother started the very first playgroup in Luton in the 1960's, which she ran successfully for many years. Her mother was a headteacher before her, which makes David the third generation in his family working with children. Over time he has developed a natural affinity with children of all ages, which comes across in every performance.
David Tomkins is the area's most established children's Ventriloquist.
